Estates

What is the difference between an Estate Sale VS Rummage, Garage or Yard Sale?

Estate sales happen when you are tasked to liquidate someone belongings. This someone could be your Grandparents, Parents, Aunt or Uncle. Most of the time an Estate Sale happens with a personal representative of someone who has passed on.

Many times we see older parents getting ready to down size or move to an assistant living or retirement home.

No two Estate sales are the same.

JS Events will design the sale to our customer’s request. We do our best to make the process smooth so you can focus on other things you may have to do. Leave the stress with us.

Most of the time the sale is at the home of the client.

The most laborious part of the Estate Sale is organizing the sale. JS Events prides themselves on organization skills. We will take a complete inventory in every room and categorize each piece that is going to be sold.

We have you walk through each room so you make the decision to keep, sell or donate. The items for sale will be marked with a price tag and shoppers can browse.

JS Events will have a few extra people the day of the sale. They will walk around the rooms to keep an eye on your belongings and answer any questions that someone may have. A cashiers table will be set for buyers to check out.

JS Events typically charges a commission of 30% to 40% of the sale. We also offer a flat rate to do the Estate sale and you receive all the sales.
